The Mckinlays Group

  • Neill McClintock started McKinlays in Crewkerne on 1st January 1994

  • McKinlays comprises a group of individually owned businesses trading under the McKinlays brand.

  • Whilst each office trades on a “stand-alone” basis there is across the board co-operation between the offices to maximise services to our clients.

  • Most offices are linked via the McKinlays web site thus providing wide coverage.

  • Neill McClintock’s background is that he had started with Humberts in 1966, moved to Gribble Booth and Taylor in 1980 and became a partner. The practice was sold to Royal Insurance in 1986. He was a director of Gribble Booth and Taylor thereafter.

  • Having had the experience of being an employee, a partner, a director in a corporate and then as a sole trader, Neill looked for a business formula that made use of the best parts of this experience. Thus the idea of McKinlays evolved.

  • McKinlays is a trading name under which different independently owned and run businesses thrive and cooperate with each other to provide wide coverage for their clients.

  • In each office “the boss” will normally be readily available allowing top quality individual and personal service and plenty of enthusiasm.
